Did you know that we are Blessed!? We have God's Blessings upon us and our lives and our households! We have THE BLESSING! The Blessing of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is what God has given us when we decide to follow Him.
Deuteronomy 28
Amplified Bible (AMP)
28 If you will listen diligently to the voice of the Lord your God, being watchful to do all His commandments which I command you this day, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.
2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you if you heed the voice of the Lord your God.
3 Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field.
4 Blessed shall be the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground and the fruit of your beasts, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock.
5 Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading trough.
6 Blessed shall you be when you come in and blessed shall you be when you go out.
See how He has #Blessed us!? Isn't that the most wonderful feeling in the whole world!?
13 And the Lord shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you this day and are watchful to do them.
14 And you shall not turn aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
He has made us the head and not the tail. We should confess this over ourselves and our family every day! He has commanded us this day to do what He wants; us to follow Him and commit ourselves to Him and to obeying His Word; His commandments. That's all He asks. . . for us to follow Him and obey His commandments; to forgive others and love other's as we love ourselves. That isn't asking a lot. . . especially if you weigh what He is Blessing us with (not that we should do it simply because of what we are gaining from it, but because of who He is and because He loves us and we love Him!
Deuteronomy 30:19

See, here He is telling us that we must choose either life and Blessings, or death and curses. . . that choosing life means that we and our descendants may live and live life more abundantly. He has soo many wonderful things for us if we decide to follow Him, commit to His commandments and chose life and Blessings. Oh glory glory glory!! Praise God now and forever!! Isn't this just wonderful and amazing!!?? I know it is for me - I can't get enough of the Good Lord, His Word and His precious Holy Spirit! What have you chosen today? ... Life or death?
